Melissa has been writing songs since she was 10 years old, though she vows to never share her first song, admitting “It’s too embarrassing.” (Hint: she rhymed “love” with “dove” and thought it was the best thing ever.) Her style is indie pop with influences of folk and blues. She writes about dreams, loss, anger, and, yes, occasionally love. It’s eclectic. Like her.
